Happy V-Day! We're going to Morocco (for 1/2 price)

Admittedly as your Bump Guyd - I like to travel.  Okay, I LOVE to travel and spend more time on airplanes and in hotels than in my actual home.  I also like a good deal - because hey, if I can get my boyfriend to travel with me for free it's well... less expensive for me.  I've traveled with the OUT Adventures guys and they are great and make for an awesome trip - and I'm not just saying this because Rob, the owner is hot.  But he is ridiculously good looking in that Canadian prairie boy way - especially when you compare him to penguins - which are adorable but not bangalicious.

Show OUT Adventures your love, for travel!
Like us, follow us, share a photo and your travel companion will travel for free!

Newcastle, UK - home of beer, boys and Bump!

What better way to travel than arriving to a handsome face like this at the airport?

Cheerio, lads and lasses! Tonight at 8:30pm on OutTV Canada we head across the pond to Newcastle-Gateshead, the most historic city in North East England. We'll visit a local gay artist in this vibrant community who is a work of art herself. Then, we'll takes the small town by storm for a British bar hop like no other.

From scoping out surfers to cooking our own fish and chips (and vinegar), we'll discover why Newcastle-Gateshead is a must see destination when visiting the United Kingdom. Of course I may have an alternate motive for this visit than the fish 'n' chips.

It also happens to be the hometown of my favorite twink on the planet - Joe McElderry. He's not just pretty, the boy can sing... he's making a cross-over from pop to classical - listen to him belt this out as I measure his pipes. ;)

SCARLET: Our Positive Youth

So I'm DIRECTING!!  For the first time and SOOOO excited about my new project.  ;)  It's a documentary feature film titled – SCARLET: Our Positive Youth.  The documentary is about HIV+ youth and we’re currently raising money through an IndieGoGo campaign for post-production.   The campaign for 'SCARLET: Our Positive Youth' is now LIVE on IndieGoGo.

I’d like to venture the ask that you may help us put the word out as well.  I feel the subject of our doc is an extremely important message to get out – one of education, empathy and dispelling stigma in regards to HIV/AIDS.

We would truly appreciate any outreach you may be able to assist us with through your social networking.

Take a moment to check it out on IndieGoGo and also share it with your friends.  All the tools are there.  Get perks, make a contribution, or simply follow updates.  If enough of us get behind it, we can make 'SCARLET: Our Positive Youth' happen.

Losing Myself in 1000 Islands

I'd heard it was one of the most beautiful places in the world... and the gossip proved true.  Just a few hours drive or train from Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and New York is a little slice of heaven that you can explore and get lost in to create your own endless summer.

It's an off the beaten path destination hugging the border between Canada and the USA.  It's a place where you can go to play... and to pamper yourself.  My idea of the perfect little vacation spot.  And don't let the name fool you - we won't get lost - but stay close will ya!?

Here in the 1000 islands Canada and the USA meet - their cultures blending in the waters of the mighty St. Lawrence and Great Lake Ontario.  The friendly atmosphere, fresh outdoors and laid-back pace makes the islands an area that inpires the spirit and renews the soul.  Waters that were once patrolled by pirates and bootleggers are now cruised by cottagers who enjoy serene bays and vacationers who tour aboard guided trips and hear the astonishing stories behind the islands.

Lighthouses, historic castles, maritime museums, world-class fishing and diving (with nearly 2000 ship wrecks to explore!) quaint downtown shopping, on the water dining, and some of the most welcoming locals I've ever met have made this destination a new personal favorite!

If you're an outdoor enthusiast like me you'll relish in the opportunity to golf a pethora of courses, hike, mountain bike, kayak, ski, and get your boys to join in a competitive game at Ground Zero Paintball.  Time to get dirty!

The St. Lawrence forest region is well known for its autumn slendor because of the mix of sugar maples, birch, oak, poplar and evergreens.  You can enjoy an endless summer here and I highly recommend returning for the rich color show the trees will put on in the fall.

There are vacation destinations that inspire, that educate, that transform and that rejuvenate.  1000 Islands checked off that list for me and had me picking up real estate guides for the region.  Highly recommended.  ;)

Happy D.I.L.F. weekend!!

A Big Daddy photo shoot co-starring Sky Thompson.  Photographer Abel Cruz of Photo Studio Miami shot this with us as a fun play on our film - Mulligans.  Since a seduction of sorts happens in both The Graduate and in Mulligans - we thought it would be fun to be inspired by the original poster art.  ;)
